Abstract: Based on the analysis of the current situation of coking coal such as the general situation, the coal preparation process, equipment, support facilities, operation, management etc. This paper points out the scarcity of coking coal resource, the achievement and the problems of coking coal preparation technology. Therefore, the coal preparation workers must actively adopt the domestic and oversea advanced technology, the advanced design ideas and the efficient coal preparation as well as the process and equipment for the protective development and utilization of the coking coal resource. The level of coal processing and utilization is improved to further reducing energy consumption and saving resource by continual innovation. The development trend of the coking coal preparation technology is prospected, which is advocating green mine, cleaning production and efficient utilization.
